How to Delete Your Account in the App

1. Open the Discover app
2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
3. Tap Manage Account
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Confirm your identity (enter your password, or re-authenticate with Google)
6. Confirm the deletion

Your account will be permanently deleted immediately.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your Firebase authentication account (email, sign-in credentials)
• All saved places and collections stored in our database
• Your subscription status and purchase history link (via RevenueCat)
• Locally stored data including swipe history, search history, and swipe counts

What Is Not Stored (and Therefore Not Deleted)

• Location data — Discover never stores your location on our servers. It is only used on-device to calculate distances.
• Swipe history — Stored only on your device and expires automatically after 3 days.

Can’t Access the App?

If you have uninstalled Discover or cannot sign in, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:

discover.app.support@gmail.com

Please include the email address you used to create your account. We will verify your identity and delete your account and all associated data within 7 business days.
