By downloading, installing, or using the Discover mobile application (“the app,” “we,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Discover is a place discovery app that allows you to browse restaurants, cafés, bars, and other venues by swiping through cards. You can save places to collections, view place details, and get directions. The app offers both a free tier with usage limits and a paid subscription (“Discover Pro”) with expanded features.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Discover. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may sign in using an email and password or through Google Sign-In. You may delete your account at any time from the app’s settings, which will permanently remove all your data.
Discover offers optional paid subscriptions managed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Discover displays place information (names, photos, addresses, ratings, reviews) provided by the Google Places API. This content is owned by Google and its third-party contributors, and is subject to Google’s Terms of Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of this data.
Directions and navigation are handled by opening Google Maps or Apple Maps. We are not responsible for the routing, accuracy, or availability of those services.
Subscription management is provided by RevenueCat and processed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Your purchases are subject to the terms of the respective platform.
The Discover app, including its design, code, branding, animations, and original content, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written permission.
Place data, photos, and Google Maps branding displayed within the app remain the property of Google and its licensors.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or reliance on place information.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the app.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, intellectual property, and indemnification) will remain in effect.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
